Job summary

Mueller Roofing Distributors is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within our warehouse, yard, or jobsite, and to operate a box truck for deliveries when needed.

You will read orders, assemble customer pallets, secure loads, and ensure accurate labeling and safe transport. This role supports daily operations and requires physical stamina, adherence to safety procedures, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience reading pick orders and assembling customer orders.
• Ability to operate forklift or hoist and use safety procedures.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move inventory within warehouse, yard, or jobsite.
• Read pick orders, assemble customer orders, and palletize accurately.
• Drive box truck or pickup for deliveries when required.
• Secure loads with straps, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting during transit.
• Unload vendor deliveries and sort/label products per procedures.

We are looking for a Warehouse/Material Handler to help take us to the next level.

Warehouse/Material Handler Associates routinely loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse, yard, or jobsite. Drives box truck and/or pickup truck when necessary for deliveries.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Uses forklift, hoist, or by hand, to move inventory products for storage or delivery. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Reads pick orders accurately, assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves accurately, or conveys orders to pickup area or delivery truck.
• Loads products on customer truck or, on company truck for delivery to customer, in accordance with established operating and safety procedures. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Unloads inventory products from vendor delivery trucks in accordance with established operating and safety procedures.
• Sorts and places received products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Labels, tags, or marks products as instructed and in accordance with procedures.
