Mueller Roofing Distributors is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler Associate in Dayton, OH. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the warehouse, yard, or jobsite while upholding safety practices and optimizing inventory flow.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 pounds, read pick orders accurately, and assist with shipping and receiving duties. The position emphasizes reliable teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Able to read pick orders accurately and assemble customer orders.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and follow safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklift/hoist or manual handling to move inventory.
• Read orders, assemble and palletize customer orders.
• Load/unload products from trucks; apply strapping to prevent movement.
• Unload items from vendor trucks following safety rules.
• Sort and label products; record quantities and locations.
• Double-check quantities, report discrepancies, and complete required reports.
• Maintain forklift certification and inspect equipment regularly.
• Keep work area clean and free from hazards.
• Provide good customer service and assist teammates as needed.
