Ryder System, Inc. is hiring for a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in College Park, GA. The position offers hourly pay of $18.00 and weekly wages, with on-the-job training and a benefits package.

Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and strong safety and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and maintain professional relationships.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Produce accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in the warehouse (sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Comply with performance guidelines of the contract and company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
