Job summary

The Material Handler position at Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. – Saugerties, NY, ensures accurate stock inventories and smooth warehouse operations in support of manufacturing.

Responsibilities include following work orders, operating a forklift, unloading shipments, pulling stock, maintaining equipment and safety, and assisting shipping while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or related work experience preferred.
• Willingness to train in multiple disciplines to drive cross-functionality.

Manufacturing Ceres US – United States Saugerties

The Material Handler is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all stock inventories for the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.
• Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of a forklift, pallet, and hand truck as required.
• Unloads shipped materials as required.
• Pulls items from stock according to designated work orders.
• Maintains and ensures all machines are functioning according to established work and safety standards.
• Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.
• Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.
• Maintains equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Complies with company policies and procedures, while giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Work with direct supervision
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour
