Job summary

ECM Holding Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Assembler in Oshkosh, WI to process, cut, and assemble Q-Lon weather-stripping products. The role supports daily warehouse operations and requires attention to detail and safety.

You will measure and cut materials, assist with shipping/receiving, and may operate a forklift after training. A high school diploma is required, and you’ll work in a heated warehouse with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and with teammates.
• Able to perform repetitive, detail-oriented assembly tasks consistently and accurately.
• Basic entry-level familiarity with a chop saw; willing to undergo forklift training.
• Comfortable in a heated winter warehouse and warm summers without central air conditioning.
• Commitment to wearing PPE and maintaining a clean work surface.

Responsibilities

• Core Assembly: Measure, cut, and assemble Q-Lon materials per guidelines using a chop saw.
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with stock, outbound shipments, and staging orders.
• Material Handling: Load/unload freight; operate a forklift as trained.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, safe warehouse.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all PPE and safety protocols at all times.

About Us

We are a cleantech contractor that provides comprehensive energy efficiency services for energy service companies (ESCOs) and corporate clients. Our services are provided by six specialized units focused on weatherization, water efficiency engineering, lighting, airflow controls, HVAC, and infrastructure solutions.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Material Assembler is responsible for processing, cutting, and assembling Q-Lon weather-stripping products while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives both independently and in team settings, maintains high safety standards, and brings consistent detail to repetitive tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Core Assembly: Measure, cut, and assemble Q-Lon materials according to specific order guidelines using a chop saw (entry-level operating knowledge required).
• Shipping & Receiving: Occasionally assist with receiving incoming stock, preparing/assembling outbound shipments, and staging orders for transport.
• Material Handling: Occasionally load and unload freight trailers; occasionally operate a forklift (onsite training provided).
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment through daily general housekeeping.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Equipment Knowledge: Basic entry-level familiarity with a chop saw; willing to undergo and pass forklift operation training.
• Physical Capability: Comfortable working in an environment that is heated during winter but non-air-conditioned during warmer months.

Physical Demands

• Lifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Standing for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day.
• Walking, continuously.
• Climbing ladders while carrying weight.
• Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves and other PPE required.

Work Environment

Ability to work comfortably in a warehouse setting that is heated throughout the winter but exposed to warm seasonal temperatures during the summer (no central air conditioning).
