Description

American Furniture Rental (AFR) is seeking a Warehouse Manager at our Phoenix, AZ location (University and 16^th Street).

Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of warehouse management experience.
• This is a hands-on position requiring work some weekends.
• Prior warehouse management experience is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Event Management preferred.

Basic Function

Responsible for planning and directing warehouse activities, delegating work respectfully, and fostering teamwork and AFR culture.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly Operations/Sales Skype calls.
• Oversee the picking, preparation, and shipment of orders and transfers.
• Coordinate with and monitor delivery teams.
• Inspect inbound and outbound orders/transfers.
• Train and monitor delivery teams and pickers.
• Handle calls from delivery teams.
• Work with Branch Managers to route trucks.
• Oversee and inspect the quality of previous days' triage and approve all products going into racks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
