The role requires 5+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience, knowledge of FIFO, OSHA, HAZMAT, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP/WMS. Forklift certification and an associate degree are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a warehouse with supervisory experience.
• Proven track record in team development.
• Experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, pick/pack.
• In-depth knowledge of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and HAZMAT shipping.
• Proficient in MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn and master internal systems (SAP).
• Proficient with WMS, B2B functions, near-miss and SDS, UPS, FedEx, and dedicated logistics systems.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Associate's degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop and establish staffing systems, processes and procedures to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Investigate shipping and receiving errors and implement corrective action plans.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Coordinate product movement, warehouse space requirements, and stock rotation with Buyers and SCM managers.
• Assist in developing plans for selling aged inventory with Sales and regional Buyers.
• Monitor and approve freight transactions and oversee annual physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Develop systems and procedures to optimize equipment and material movement while delivering value to customers.
• Use routing tools and mapping to minimize freight costs and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Ensure warehouse safety and use of Warehouse Management System for order receipt and dispatch.
