Job summary

ELEMENT is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in New Orleans to lead a small team in the Pull Team, assign daily tasks, and ensure accurate and timely pulling of rental contracts. The role requires hands-on oversight of equipment inspection, inventory accuracy, and safe loading/unloading of trucks.

You will coach 3–5 associates, enforce OSHA standards, maintain organized inventory, and collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Sales to support events with reliable prep and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of 3–5 warehouse associates in the Pull Team department.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure contracts are pulled accurately and on schedule.
• Inspect all rental equipment before it leaves the warehouse to ensure quality.
• Verify quantities and item accuracy against rental contracts.
• Oversee cleaning, inspection, and repackaging of returned inventory before stock.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse with labeled inventory.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members while maintaining accountability.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA guidelines to create a safe environment.
• Monitor inventory condition and report damaged or missing items.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Sales to prep events on time.
• Assist with inventory organization, warehouse projects, and process improvements.
• Lead by example during busy periods and large events.

• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA guidelines to create a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory condition and report damaged or missing items.
• Work closely with Operations, Logistics, and Sales departments to ensure all events are prepared accurately and on time.
• Assist with inventory organization, warehouse projects, and process improvements.
• Lead by example by working alongside the team during busy periods and large event preparations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout an entire shift.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
