Job summary

HornerXpress Miami, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations at our Miami branch. Lead receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment while managing staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 3 years in warehouse operations with 1 year in a supervisory capacity and proficiency with WMS/inventory software. Strong safety leadership and bilingual Spanish/English abilities are valued. Benefits include health plans and a wellness program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory management to meet company performance goals.
• Assign daily tasks and supervise warehouse staff.
• Monitor and review warehouse team's time and attendance.
• Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Regularly inspect warehouse for safety issues.
• Prepare accident reports and make safety corrections as needed.
• Implement and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize workflow and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory control and reduce discrepancies.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures that improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Serve as backup to warehouse and delivery drivers and fill in when needed
