Job summary

A&C Plastics, Inc. in Schiller Park, IL seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Illinois warehouse operations, drive safety, accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all workflows, and contribute to customer satisfaction.

You will supervise warehouse supervisors and teams, manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and KPI tracking, coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service, and champion a culture of accountability, training, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience supervising multiple warehouse departments preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Clean driving record required.
• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel to Houston, Texas 2-3 times per year.
• Must be at least 20 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations and maintain safe, efficient, organized environment.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to warehouse supervisors and team leaders.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, packing, and local delivery operations.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and KPIs.
• Develop and mentor future warehouse leaders through training.
• Maintain staffing levels and cross-training.
• Lead inventory accuracy efforts and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, OSHA, and procedures.
• Oversee equipment, vehicles, and facility maintenance.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and promote accountability.
• Assist with freight coordination and special projects.

Warehouse Manager - Schiller Park, IL A&C Plastics has been a trusted leader in the plastics industry for over 50 years, and we're continuing to grow. We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Illinois warehouse operations and help us continue delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Schiller Park, Illinois

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Monthly Bonus Opportunity + Benefits

What You'll Do

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse while ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to warehouse supervisors and team leaders.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, pulling, packaging, inventory, freight, and local delivery operations.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, quality, safety, and operational KPIs.
• Develop and coach future warehouse leaders through ongoing training and mentorship.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and cross‑training throughout the warehouse.
• Lead inventory accuracy efforts, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve customer and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, OSHA requirements, and warehouse procedures.
• Oversee warehouse equipment, vehicles, and facility maintenance.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Assist with freight coordination, routing, and special projects as needed.
• Build and maintain working relationships with local vendors.

• Previous warehouse management or distribution leadership experience required.
• Experience leading supervisors or multiple warehouse departments preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
