Job summary

YQN in New Jersey is seeking a Warehouse Manager for Large Item Operations to oversee a 300,000-square-foot facility in Flanders. The role requires bilingual English and Mandarin and leadership of 30–80 employees, including direct and temporary staff, with a focus on large-item handling and inventory control.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, safety compliance, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional coordination with HR, transportation, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 4+ years in warehouse operations with supervisory or management duties.
• Experience with large-item, furniture or freight operations preferred.
• Knowledge of inbound/outbound, inventory control, and safety processes.
• Proven leadership, organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with a warehouse management system is preferred.

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage and shipping.
• Lead and develop a team of 30–80 employees (direct and temporary staff).
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance and attendance.
• Ensure safe handling of large or oversized products and maintain inventory integrity.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, inventory accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
• Conduct daily ops meetings and ensure SOP compliance.
• Coordinate with HR, staffing, transportation, and customer service teams.
• Prepare reports and identify workflow, productivity and cost improvements.
• Maintain facility security and inventory integrity.

We are seeking a bilingual Warehouse Manager – Large Item Operations to oversee our approximately 300,000-square-foot warehouse in Flanders, New Jersey. The facility primarily handles large and bulky products and supports approximately 30–80 employees, depending on business volume.

A commuting allowance and work visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, returns, and outbound shipping.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 30–80 employees, including direct employees and temporary labor.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance, attendance, retention, and employee relations.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling, storage, loading, and unloading of large or oversized products.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including productivity, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, safety, and on-time completion.
• Conduct daily operational meetings and ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with HR, staffing agencies, transportation, customer service, and other internal teams.
• Prepare operational reports and identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain facility security and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 4 years of warehouse operations experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in large-item, furniture, appliance, freight, or similar warehouse operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of inbound, outbound, inventory control, and warehouse safety processes.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Location: Flanders, NJ (Commute allowance may available for qualified candidates)

• Annual salary: $70,000–$110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
