Warehouse Manager

We provide the industry with access to approximately 850,000 shipping racks/carts for delivery of live plants to garden center retailers. JOB OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse (depot) and supervision of depot employees and recovery drivers. The Warehouse Manager will work as a member of the Operations team under the day-to-day guidance of the Regional Operations Manager.

JOB DUTIES

• Provide leadership for the depot team including the warehouse specialists and repair employees
• Supervise recovery drivers to ensure routes are ran effectively and efficiently
• implement standard operating procedures for workflow
• Collaborate with account management, inventory control and logistics to coordinate the future needs of our customers
• Manage schedules of employees, shipping and receiving, to optimize operations
• Maintain an organized, safe, healthy and positive work environment
• Hire, onboard and submit timesheets for depot team
• Manage and submit inventory reporting
• Oversee repairs at the depot to ensure quality and that repair quotas are met
• Increase data accuracy
• Ensure all Container Centralen equipment is available for use
• Training of new hires on process and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience
• 5+ years of warehousing experience
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and process flows
• Customer relationship building mindset
• Demonstrated data input capabilities, including Microsoft Excel functions
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
