Qualifications

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained through transfer requests
  • Coordinate with Production and Purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures that improve efficiency, safety, and accuracy
  • Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all documentation and labeling requirements are met
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards
  • Plan projects, set employee objectives, and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to support company objectives
  • All other duties as assigned

DIRECT REPORTS

The Warehouse Manager directs all warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. This role is responsible for leading the warehouse and sundries teams, maintaining accurate inventory control, promoting a safe work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. They maintain the physical condition of the warehouse through planning and implementing processes for the team. The Warehouse Manager partners closely with Production, Logistics, and Purchasing to support operational goals and optimize workflow.

CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained through transfer requests
  • Coordinate with Production and Purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods

  • Partner with the maintenance team to ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facility cleanliness
  • Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all documentation and labeling requirements are met
  • Review incoming sundries orders and plans and execute production accordingly
  • Plan projects, set employee objectives, and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to support company objectives
  • All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear).

The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, as well as thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices in the warehouse.

Basic ERP skills and knowledge is essential.

The ability to think critically, problem solve efficiently, make decisions, and communicate effectively are all essential.

Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Driving is a requirement for this position. Therefore, must have the ability to travel domestically via operating a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver license and driving record which is acceptable to our insurance provider.

Must have a vehicle in good working condition and ensure it meets all safety, insurance, and legal requirements. The ability to travel by plane and/or overnight travel may also be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, carry, push, pull, reach, and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, sit, and stand for extended periods of time. The employee must frequently lift, maneuver, and/or pivot up to 55 pounds and regularly engage in team lifts of objects weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance. Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance at the facility. Must wear all required personal protective equipment in designated areas and use necessary care to avoid placing oneself and others in an unsafe environment. Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges. Ability to accurately distinguish color variation. Read at, above, and below shoulder height. Sufficient manual dexterity required to operate equipment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and effective manner with co-workers, company representatives, management, and staff in face-to-face, one-on-one, and group settings. Tolerate inclement weather, including heat and cold. Must have a normal level of tolerance for chemicals and/or airborne particles and noise level tolerance. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight travel required. The work schedule can range from 40 to 60 hours per week. Travel may be required up to 10%.
