Job summary

Tri-Jay Tire Distributors Inc., doing business as K&M Tire / Southeast Wholesale Tire, seeks a Warehouse Manager for our Raleigh, NC location. The role involves unloading inbound loads, warehousing tires, and loading outbound delivery trucks.

Applicants will use handheld scanners and our inventory software to manage sales orders and invoices, schedule inbound freight, and supervise staff. This is a Monday–Friday day shift with in-person work and background checks.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred).
• Fluency with handheld scanners and related inventory software.
• Basic computer skills for sales/warehousing software and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound loads and warehouse tires, and load outbound delivery trucks.
• Use inventory management software and handheld scanners to view/create sales orders and invoices.
• Schedule inbound freight and assign staff for unloading; coordinate with drivers.
• Communicate by email and verbal messages to ensure warehouse efficiency and on-time deliveries.

Founded in 1985, We are an independent family-owned wholesale tire distributor serving tire dealers in 5 states. We have 5 wholesale distribution warehouses;

Hickory NC, Richmond VA, Walterboro SC, Raleigh NC, and Greenville NC

This is a Warehouse manager position in the wholesale tire distribution industry for our southeastern Wholesale Tire location in Raleigh NC.

We are seeking an energetic person eager to work as a warehouse manager. Our shift is Monday - Friday day shift.

This position consists of unloading inbound loads, warehousing the tires and loading outbound delivery route trucks. This warehouse manager position should demonstrate good work ethic, good attitude towards others, along with punctuality for arrival to begin the work day. This position will require interaction with a computer to access our sales/warehousing software to create/view sales orders along with invoicing the orders to load delivery trucks for customers.

We utilize live inventory management software that requires the use of handheld scanners. The manager will need to be fluent with scanners and how they operate to keep the warehousing efficiency operating at optimum level. The manager will schedule inbound freight loads, ensure staff is scheduled to unload the freight as well. This position will require physical labor and verbal communications along with electronic communications such as email. Basic computer skills are required for this position.
