The basic function of the Warehouse Manager is to supervise and direct all deliveries to and from the warehouse including materials and equipment.Check in/out all material and equipment.Control inventory and tool assignments.Daily assigned duties will change with the current workload.Must have good communication skills, have a neat clean appearance, and be trustworthy.

The Warehouse Manager is granted the authority needed to conduct the day to day duties and decision making for deliveries of materials and equipment, and work with the employees and customers to ensure their needs are met.The Warehouse Manager has the authority to control all company equipment, and to make all decisions for their assigned projects on behalf of the company.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:

Must possess knowledge of materials and equipment and be able to instruct employees of proper use and care of company assets.Must have a working knowledge of general construction practice and methods.Must have basic computer skills and understanding of company reports.Can work with minimal supervision in a professional manner with employees and General Contractors.Must have a pleasant demeanor and good communication skills.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF THE POSITION:

Body positions:Sitting and standing

Body movements:Walking, turning, stooping, and reaching for and carryingmaterials, if needed.

Body senses:Must hear well enough to understand oral directions.Must see to read forms, labels, directions, and operating instructions.Sight function must be adequate to spot imperfections in materials and be able to recognize equipment maintenance needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office environment and possible job site visits.

LICENSURE:
