Job summary

Midwest Hose is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, and team leadership. The role focuses on maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse that supports company goals and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in warehouse or logistics, with 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with WMS and MS

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in warehouse or logistics, including 2+ years in supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance and safety goals.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.

This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment that supports company goals and customer expectations.Roles and Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.Lead, train, and motivate warehouse employees to achieve performance and safety goals.Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counts and audits.Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluations for warehouse staff.Oversee maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.Track and report on key performance metrics such as accuracy, timeliness, and productivity.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.Knowledge of industrial products or hose industry is a plus.
