Job summary

Momentum Solar is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, manage stock accuracy, and supervise warehouse staff. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and cross-functional coordination across departments to support project installations and service jobs.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years warehouse lead and/or supervisor experience.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to train, coach, and counsel associates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels by ordering material on time and ensuring accurate cycle counts.
• Supervise daily warehouse tasks and promote a clean, safe worksite.
• Coordinate with Install and Service managers on usage from jobs.
• Ensure accurate transfers to trucks and other markets and document discrepancies.
• Perform daily yard walk and secure material, gates, and locks.
• Lead accuracy checks and coach associates to meet performance expectations.

Overview

The Warehouse Manager facilitates day-to-day warehouse operations tasks. The Manager maintains accurate inventory by coordinating/performing cycle counts. He/she supervises the daily tasks of warehouse associates, ensures a clean and safe worksite, opens/closes the facility, and works cross-functionally with several departments. Availability of flexible work schedule including weekend work when needed is required.

Responsibilities:

• Helps maintain stock levels by ordering material on time
• Keeps fulfillments up to date and accurate in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Makes sure jobs are checked and pulled accurately.
• Receives deliveries physically and in NS.
• Monitors, oversees, and holds employees account to performance expectations.
• Develops associates to be competent performers in all aspects of warehouse processes.
• Audits cycle count results and enters system adjustments accordingly.
• Communicates with Install Managers/Service managers on usage from installs and service jobs.
• Makes accurate transfers to trucks and other markets.
• Maintains daily organization and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Research significant inventory adjustments and communicate findings with Management team.
• Performs physical and system work as required to complete truck reconciliation.
• Performs daily yard walk of the property before leaving to secure all material, gates, vehicles, and locks.

Required Competencies:

• Minimum 2 years warehouse lead and/or supervisor experience (exception for internal candidates).
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to train, coach, and counseling of associates.
• Ability to recognize work results.
• Ability to handle conflict professionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments.
