Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to administer put-to-club, storage and pallet activities within our distribution environment.

You will develop daily staffing plans to ensure efficient merchandise flow and 100% asset integrity on outbound shipments, while supervising receipt, staging, and cross-docking processes. The role requires strong safety and loss prevention focus, training of new team members, and ensuring accurate trailer loading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of distribution experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience supervising warehouse operations and safety compliance.
• Ability to develop staffing plans and manage throughput.

Responsibilities

• Administer and execute all put to club, storage, pallet, and general warehouse operations.
• Develop and maintain a daily staffing plan to ensure efficient merchandise flow and 100% asset integrity on outbound shipments.
• Oversee the put to club and cigarette process to ensure the timely throughput of all merchandise.
• Supervise timely and accurate receipt, staging, quality control and cross docking of all storage merchandise and cigarettes.
• Monitor safety and loss prevention practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate the receiving, processing, staging and shipping of all reset and storage operations.
• Ensure safe and accurate trailer loading and merchandise palletizing techniques are utilized to prevent product damage.
• Maintain safety compliance with equipment operations to include forklifts, pallet jacks and powered electric jacks.
• Support ongoing development of safety programs and retraining of violations.
• Maintain equipment functionality to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
