Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply Partners seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager in Houston, TX to supervise warehouse staff and drive safe, efficient, and profitable operations. The role emphasizes leadership, policy compliance, and process improvements within an Electrical Supply Distribution context.

Requirements include 7+ years in warehousing, strong supervisory skills, and familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor Eclipse preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• At least seven years of related experience in a warehouse setting.
• Prior supervisory experience required (2–5 years).
• Electrical supply distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP System a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow of the warehouse; schedule staff to cover all shifts.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Recruit, hire and train new warehouse employees.
• Discipline and termination of staff as needed per policy.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize operations and efficiency.
• Complete required management reports and maintain records.
• Oversee maintenance activities as needed and safe operation of equipment.
• Identify and present ideas to improve warehouse processes.
• Attend regular and impromptu meetings and communicate results.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who will supervise warehouse associates and leaders and provide strategic direction to ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and profitably. • Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
• Responsible for ensuring safety is first and safety policies and procedures are followed.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 40 lbs. may be required infrequently.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
