National DCP, LLC. in Groveland, FL is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead outbound loading and inbound receiving for dry and refrigerated trailers. The role requires strong supervision of about 60 associates, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time dispatch across routes.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage staff performance, and partner with Transportation. A BS/BA is preferred, with P&L accountability and solid Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred.
• 5+ years of warehouse operations experience.
• P&L awareness and financial acumen preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• OSHA standards knowledge.
• SAP and WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employee performance to meet daily plans.
• Manage receiving and outbound loading for dry and refrigerated trailers.
• Ensure on-time dispatch of all routes.
• Evaluate procedures and staff performance to improve efficiency.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Manage maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
• P&L responsibility for the DC’s Warehouse Operation.
• Lead Warehouse Supervisors, Receivers, Selectors and Loaders.
• Partner with Transportation to address driver concerns.
• Build cross-department relationships.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

1. Monitor employee performance and take necessary steps to ensure the daily plan is achievable and met by all Warehouse departments.
2. Execute operations based on the daily case volume.
3. Responsible for having orders selected and trucks loaded for on time dispatch of all routes.
4. Continuously evaluate procedures and staff performance and make changes to improve efficiencies. Counsel, record, and discipline as necessary.
5. Partner with Transportation to address driver concerns on load quality and OS&D.
6. Interview, select and train Selectors and Supervisors to maintain a staffing level necessary to run the shift efficiently and effectively.
7. Ensure compliance with all Company safety and selection procedures.
8. Continuously train and promote safe operation of all material handling equipment.
9. Effectively communicate with Warehouse associates to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the Warehouse.
10. Maintain and present production and service metrics performance reports to upper management as needed.
11. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
12. P&L responsibility for the assigned DC’s Warehouse Operation.
13. Manage the Warehouse Supervisors, Receivers, Selectors and Loaders of the assigned DC.
14. Partner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide support to Operations.
15. Other duties as assigned.

This role will have oversight of approximately 60 associates.

Qualifications

What you bring:

• BS/BA preferred
• 5+ years of warehouse operations experience, with progressive hands-on supervisory/management experience
• Previous experience in a Food Distribution environment is preferred.
• Financial acumen with previous P&L responsibility is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software; strong focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledgeable of OSHA Standards and regulations
• SAP experience preferred
• WMS experience required (Manhattan experience is desirable)
• Experience using voice-selecting applications preferred (Vocollect is desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work varying schedules to learn and support the various Warehouse Operations
