Job summary

The SYGMA Network in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control and order fulfillment. You will lead a team, ensure accurate processing of Purchase Orders, maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment, and collaborate with customer service to resolve shipment issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
• 2 to 5 years of Supply Chain/Warehouse and Management experience.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management platforms and Inventory systems.
• MS Office proficiency including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders to ensure they flow through the Admin and Back Office Macola systems to Order Close.
• Ensure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame; process Instawarehouse POsto completion
• Ensures daily warehouse order processing is completed and Pick Tickets/Products are shipped.
• Manage receiving, inventory control & returns, monitoring Direct and True Bins for accurate inventory and processing orders to close
• Assist with expediting customer service orders and monitoring orders and inventory for order completion
• Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow and resolve problems
• Assist Customer Service Managers in resolving shipment or returns issues
• Enforce proper use and maintenance of Instawarehouse equipment
• Ensure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources
• Ensure Instawarehouse is properly staffed during normal hours
• Maintain clean, neat floor areas, offices, dock and related areas
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork to meet productivity targets
• Train staff and monitor performance and progress

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders to ensure they flow through the Admin and Back Office Macola systems correctly to Order Close
• Ensure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame, and systematically processing all Instawarehouse Purchase Orders to completion
• Ensures daily warehouse order processing is successfully executed and Pick Tickets/Products are shipped out from our warehouse
• Management of the receiving, inventory control & the returns department including the monitoring of the Direct and True Bins to properly issue out for accurate inventory and processing orders to close
• Assist with expediting customer service orders and monitoring orders and inventory for order completion
• Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow & resolve problems
• Assist Customer Service Manager(s) in resolving any shipment or returns issues
• Enforce proper use and maintenance of any Instawarehouse equipment – motorized or other
• Ensure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources
• Ensure that the Instawarehouse is properly staffed at all times during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by management
• Ensure that all Instawarehouse floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock and dumpster areas are clean, neat and free of any debris
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
• Train staff and monitoring their performance and progress

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of Supply Chain/Warehouse and Management experience
• Proficiency with various Warehouse Management platforms and Inventory systems
• Computer applications using MS office specifically excel, word, and PowerPoint
• Possess or ability to pass forklift certification
