DHL Global Forwarding in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, safety, and inventory control. The role includes KPI ownership, cost management, and leadership of staff in a fast-paced logistics facility.

The successful candidate will drive process improvements, ensure compliance with TSA/C-TPAT/DOT regulations, and collaborate with senior management to deliver strategic results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Freight Forwarding Warehousing operations.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with customer-facing responsibilities preferred.
• Understanding of TSA, C-TPAT, DOT and Hazmat regulations preferred.
• Unionized work experience a plus.

• Participates in development and ensures implementation of warehouse operations strategy to provide smooth operations.
• Provides customized solutions for customers in warehousing, inventory control & analysis, transportation, and technical support.

• Supervises staff, responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff.
• Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance per policies.
• Collaborates with senior management to deliver strategic business results.
• Drives performance improvement through CIP tools and data-driven management.
• Shape and adjust workflows based on business need to optimize operations.
• P/L responsibility for the unit, control costs and implement cost improvements.
• Drives productivity improvement measures with teams.
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop, maintain, and implement local operating procedures and work instructions.

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assumes responsibility for good working practices, safety, and security for customer inventory
• Participates in development and ensures implementation of warehouse operations strategy to provide smooth operations
• Provides customized solutions for customers in the areas of warehousing, inventory control & analysis, transportation, and technical support
• Responsible for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the product and ensures budget targets are met
• Supervises staff, responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff
• Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes
• Collaborates with senior management to deliver strategic business results. Builds collaborative working relationships across groups
• Drives Performance Improvement though active management and use is CIP tools.
• Metric driven and drives team performance based on data
• Responsible to shape and adjust workflows based on business need.
• P/L responsibility for the business unit, works to control costs and implement cost improvement measures.
• Drives Productivity improvement measures with teams.
• Responsible for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures to address and minimize reoccurring challenges.
• Responsible to develop, maintain, and implement local operating procedures and work instructions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in Freight Forwarding Warehousing operations experience is required
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience is required
• Experience with process improvement activities and initiatives required
• Experience with customer-facing responsibilities strongly preferred
• Understanding of TSA, C-TPAT, DOT and Hazmat regulations strongly preferred
• Unionized work experience a plus
• P&L/Budget/financial experience a plus
• SAP software experience a plus
• Strong ability to develop, coach, train, and mentor staff to success
• Demonstrated leadership ability to include driving KPIs, employee engagement / team building.

Pay Range: $93,142.50 - $124,190.00+ (Based on Experience)
