This individual is responsible for all the inventory management which helps our company reach the growth, profitability, and sustainability goals we have set. Essential Functions

• Reviewandrecommendimprovedoperatingpoliciesandprocedures.Ensuringtheproperimplementationandmaintenanceofapprovedchanges.
• Evaluate andmakingrecommendationsregarding employment,performanceratings,salary changes,promotions, transfers,and terminations of personnel.
• Guide andadvisepersonnel in themore complexphasesoftheirwork, aswellas suggested training.
• Drive Qualityalongsideprofitabilityinthecompany.
• Keepwill callreportuptodate andaccuratebyworkingwiththe insidesalesteamtoensure queues andtrackers are addressedin atimelymanner.
• UpdateADP System dailyand transmitpayroll asrequired.
• Maintainasafe environmentforallcustomersand employees.Responsible forgeneral maintenance,insideandoutsidethefacility.
• Optimize thebranch's inventorytoexceed customer'sexpectations andsatisfaction.
• Workcloselywithinternal departments,combining individual efforts tobetterserve the customer.
• Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

AdditionalDuties and trainandassiststaff withthe following:

• Receivesincoming materials,checkingpackingslipsagainst actualmerchandise received.
• Inspects materialsforobviousdefects.Solvesrelatedproblems andnotifiessupervisor,as necessary.
• Stocks shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated area. Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers, and will call orders. Carefully identifies quantities and customer specifications. Utilizes RF guns for much of the picking & packing function.
• Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
• Assists with loading andunloading trucks.
• Receivesandhangsreelsofwire indesignated area.Cuts wire tocustomerspecificationfor counter,will call,andotherspecificsalesorders.
• Posts purchaseorders andotherrelated dataintothe computersystem.
• Communicateswith the sales departmentwhenmaterialorderedisnot available.
• Workscloselywithall internal departments tohelpus achieveourmissiontobe“The distributorofchoice.”
