Carrier Global Corporation in Indianapolis is seeking a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Lead to own SAP EWM and related warehouse technology at the distribution center. You will bridge business requirements with SAP configurations, lead testing, upgrades, and ensure operational excellence.

This hybrid role requires 3+ years of WMS experience, strong SAP EWM knowledge, and ability to collaborate across IT, logistics, and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in a distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
• 3+ years in SAP EWM and core warehouse workflows (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, inventory control).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and data analysis skills using Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary site business owner and functional SME for SAP EWM and related warehouse technology platforms.
• Act as the functional bridge between operational business needs and system configuration/IT capabilities in SAP.
• Coordinate system configuration, testing, validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities for system upgrades and site enhancements.
• Provide front-line functional support for warehouse system incidents, queue/transaction errors, printing issues, and operational disruptions.
• Develop and maintain warehouse reporting, dashboards, and operational performance metrics using SAP reporting, Power BI, and SQL queries.
• Oversee site hardware administration for RF scanners, mobile devices, barcode printers, and warehouse workstations.
