Job summary

L&R DISTRIBUTORS seeks a Full-Time Technician to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility infrastructure and equipment at our New Jersey Distribution Center. You will obtain forklift and elevated platform certification and work scheduled hours to meet customer demands.

Candidates must emphasize safety and urgency while supporting our operations, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with teams to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to maintain and repair facility infrastructure.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft products.
• Ability to operate forklifts and work at heights.
• Must lift >50 lbs and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee maintenance programs including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, forklifts and electrical systems.
• Manage procurement of spare parts and coordinate on-site contractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain records of maintenance activities.
