Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of warehouse equipment. The role covers maintenance, repairs, and inspections of facility systems, aligning with industry standards during a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift (no weekends).

The position emphasizes working with production teams to troubleshoot issues, read blueprints, and maintain equipment to support reliable daily operations across our facilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months maintenance and repair or related area.

• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot/repair Trailers, Restraint Devices, Dock leveling ramps, Dock Doors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them- checking blueprints, repair manuals- or parts catalogs- as necessary.
• Work directly with production associates and management to problem-solve and correct production issues that will ensure maximum production efficiencies.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Investigates electrical and mechanical equipment failures and develops action plans to eliminate repetitive failures.
