Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hagerstown, Maryland is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on warehousing equipment and utility systems, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will work on first shift, with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required; vocational certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse maintenance experience including electrical and mechanical repair.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing customer and Ryder.
• Good organizational, communication and planning skills.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment required.
• Equipment certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on warehousing equipment independently.
• Maintains plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable.
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, ordering, and plant reporting systems.
• Performs routine forklift repairs.
• Maintains batteries and related equipment.
• Performs routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and keeps repairs records.
• Provides training on safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency if required.
• Additional duties and overtime as needed.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift (B) Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
