Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Tech for our Apopka, FL distribution center. You will maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, efficient daily operations in a temperature-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance in a warehouse/distribution setting.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to safety and food safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to communicate maintenance needs and escalate issues.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with operations teams.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and work orders.
• Forklift, pallet jack, conveyor, refrigeration or facility maintenance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on warehouse equipment, machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize disruptions.
• Assist in planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Maintain safety, quality, and food safety concerns related to equipment or facilities.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Communicate equipment status and repair needs during reviews.
• Assist with vendor coordination and contractor oversight when required.
