Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC in Colorado is seeking a Maintenance Tech to support the maintenance team, performing building and grounds upkeep and ensuring plant equipment runs smoothly. You will engage in repairs and long-term improvements across HVAC, electrical, and related systems.

The role requires a minimum two years in commercial building maintenance and the ability to read blueprints; a valid driver’s license and own tools are expected. Competitive hourly pay available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of experience in commercial building maintenance including HVAC, ammonia systems, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, conveyor repair, rack building.

• Maintain building and grounds; support maintenance department.

  Primary Responsibilities
  
  

  The Maintenance Tech will assist the maintenance team and will support all aspects of the maintenance department as needed, including general building and grounds maintenance. Ensuring all plant equipment is functioning at optimum levels by performing repairs and long-term improvements.
  

  
  Essential Functions
  
  

  Responsible for maintenance and repairs of the building (interior and exterior structures and related fixtures and utilities) through the use of a variety of skills consisting of advanced carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, welding, conveyor, HVAC and ammonia systems.

  
  Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
  
  
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must have at least (2) two years’ experience in commercial building maintenance functions including the following: HVAC, ammonia systems, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, conveyor repair, rack building

  Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

  • Preferred Electrical Certification, Welding Certification, or HVAC Certification
  • Ability to read blueprint and schematic diagrams
  • Ability to work with outside contractors
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The understanding of problem solving and time management
  • Must have a valid driver’ license
  • Operate a variety of maintenance equipment, including but not limited to hand and power tools, snow plow equipment and fork lift
  • Reliability, dependability, multi-task, oriented, flexible in scheduling and after hour on calls
  • Must have own tools

The noise level in the work environments is low to high.
