Job summary

Apex Material Handling Corp. in Aurora, IL is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep buildings and equipment maintained, cleaned, and operating. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, battery maintenance, and local deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus but not a requirement; willing to learn forklift operation.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to wear PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hats, safety shields).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse upkeep in a safe, orderly environment.
• Maintain and clean warehouse floors and recovery tanks.
• Move and organize forklifts; manage charging routines for stock batteries.
• Support occasional local deliveries; travel between locations as needed.
