Job summary

Nebraskaland in Bronx, NY is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Associate to keep the facility clean, safe and organized. The role supports daily operations by maintaining interior and exterior areas, ensuring debris-free spaces and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks.

Shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; pay is $19 per hour plus opportunities to contribute to a well-run, safe workplace.

Qualifications

Standing, walking, bending for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Experience in warehouse or janitorial work preferred but not required.
Day shift availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse interior and exterior.
Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitary at all times.
Clean and maintain common areas, break rooms, and employee spaces.
Sweep, mop, and perform routine maintenance on warehouse floors.
Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas and dispose of them properly.
Collect and remove plastic wrap, packaging materials, and other debris from warehouse operations.
Perform minor paint and floor touch-up repairs as needed.
Organize level boxes, pallets, and storage areas to maintain a neat appearance and safe working environment.
Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns.
Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a safe workplace for employees and visitors.
