Job summary

Worldwide Retail Solutions Inc is seeking a dependable Warehouse Facilities Associate to keep our Virginia facility clean, organized, and in good working condition. This hands-on role performs light maintenance and supports daily upkeep to ensure a safe and efficient environment for employees and visitors.

You will operate equipment like an Advance Condor floor scrubber, perform routine inspections, manage supplies, and coordinate with supervisors on repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in facilities support, janitorial work, warehouse operations, or general maintenance is helpful.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safe work practices.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and general upkeep of warehouse, breakroom, restroom, office, and exterior areas.
• Complete light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening hardware, assembling fixtures, and minor non-technical repairs.
• Maintain material handling equipment by daily inspection and weekly battery watering.
• Operate and maintain an Advance Condor ride-on floor scrubber.
• Inspect facility areas and report safety hazards, damage, leaks, or equipment concerns.
• Maintain cleaning, maintenance, and facility supply inventories; restock items as needed.
• Support waste removal, recycling, spill response, and seasonal exterior upkeep.
• Assist with moving furniture, supplies, and lightweight equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and keep aisles, exits, docks clear.
• Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
• Coordinate with supervisors and approved service providers for specialized repairs.
