Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am) in Charlotte. You will work hands-on with glass components, shaping, smoothing, and inspecting to meet exacting standards, following ISO 9001 and safety guidelines.

You’ll use CNC and manual grinding equipment, measure parts precisely, read drawings, and record data in an electronic system. Strong attention to detail and basic Excel/Word skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication with coworkers, engineers and supervisors.
• Excellent manual dexterity and a strong work ethic.
• Sharp eyesight, solid math ability, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfort using measurement tools, reading blueprints, maintaining records, and following organized processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and secure parts for grinding, polishing, and finishing.
• Operate both CNC and manual grinding equipment.
• Mix and maintain polishing compounds and tools.
• Accurately measure optical and geometric properties of components.
• Examine surfaces under a microscope to detect imperfections.
• Read technical drawings and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe.
• Record part data and updates in our electronic tracking system.
• Work in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and safety regulations.

Pay: $18-$20/Hr

Join our Fabrication team as an Production Operator on 3rd shift. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with glass components, shaping, smoothing, and inspecting them to meet exacting standards.
