Job summary

S&S Activewear in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Warehouse Machine Operator for our PRIME division. You will retrieve inventory from floor and up-stock locations, operate forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, stock chaser, pallet jack, scanners, tablets, and our WMS, and deliver to designated areas for stocking or shipment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, able to read English, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift/cherry picker) preferred.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Retrieve inventory from floor and up-stock locations for transfers or stocking.
• Perform daily safety inspections of equipment.
• Maintain productivity and accurate counts using barcode scanners and WMS.
• Stock and prepare items for shipment and delivery to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
