Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking a Machine Operator for the PRIME division in Bridgeport, CT. You will retrieve inventory from floor and up-stock locations, deliver to stocking or shipment areas, and operate material handling equipment following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and operate warehouse machinery.
• Comfortable using electronic devices and warehouse software.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment: Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and WMS.
• Perform daily safety inspections for all equipment.
• Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and follow leadership directions.
• Complete required duties and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
