Job summary

Prince William Water seeks a warehouse associate to receive, store, and issue materials, while maintaining accurate records and stock reports. The role includes inspecting inbound receipts, coordinating shipments, and supporting events and training programs.

You will manage inventory per established procedures, rotate stock for space efficiency, and assist with annual physical inventories. Forklift operation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern storeroom and inventory practices.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items in the storeroom.
• Inspect incoming receipts for damage, accuracy, and discrepancies; report findings.
• Prepare and track outgoing shipments via UPS or freight carriers following regulations.
• Perform logistics support for events and training programs for Prince William Water.
• Maintain inventory records and perform periodic inventories; rotate stock for space efficiency.
• Coordinate storage and rotation of archives; prepare shipments for pickup via couriers.
• Determine optimal inventory levels and reorder points; investigate discrepancies.
• Contact vendors regarding purchases; inspect incoming parts and supplies for quality and quantity; maintain MSDS.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment; operate Prince William Water vehicle.
• May be deemed essential at any time.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
