Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and delivery operations across our locations. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and task delegation while ensuring on-time, accurate order fulfillment and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and delivery operations, including staffing, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Supervise delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient customer deliveries, addressing issues or delays.
• Provide input on employee performance, development opportunities, and staffing needs.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new warehouse and delivery employees to meet performance expectations.
• Collaborate with Branch/Store Manager on disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
• Coordinate operations to support accurate order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Supervise delivery schedules and routes to ensure on-time delivery in good condition.
• Prepare and review management reports related to productivity, safety, and KPIs.
• Identify areas for operational improvements and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
