Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Miami is seeking a Warehouse Operator to coordinate and complete shipments, with daily forklift operations and adherence to safety policies.

You will work with off-site locations, suppliers and vendors to meet deadlines, verify orders, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory and customer service quality. Flexibility, teamwork and basic MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Basic inventory verification and order accuracy is expected.
• Preferred: 3+ years in customer service and logistics; material handling certification and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily warehouse activities for an assigned shift.
• Follows work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services.
• Meets objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Collaborates with supervisor and teams to improve service to the client.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and stages products correctly.
• Moves products to correct destination and ensures trailer safety.
• Verifies driver, trailer and bills for correct carrier/location.
• Operates forklift; labels, sorts, packs and repacks as needed.
• Maintains organized desk/office area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
