Job summary

Compass Group USA Levy division seeks a Materials Handler to receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment and products across venues. You will follow schedules, place items on shelves, and prepare orders for shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities include moving goods between receiving and production areas, labeling, weighing, and occasionally driving a vehicle to pick up or deliver items.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or packing stations.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares items for shipping or packaging.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens containers and records amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Maintains inventory records and weighs or counts items for distribution.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items and completes requisition forms.
• Prepares parcels for mailing and ensures proper presentation and temperature control; follows HACCP standards.
