Job summary

ABB Inc. seeks to fill a Warehouse/Logistics role in Phoenix, responsible for receiving, order filling and shipping with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will verify documentation, stock product, and prepare items for shipment while maintaining accurate inventory and housekeeping standards. The position involves handling bulk product, operating power equipment as needed, and collaborating with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience preferred in manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately.
• Ability to work in 3-level modules; not afraid of height; lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
• Stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs during shift.
• Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify documentation, SKU, quantities and quality from vendors and stock product; consolidate same-SKU items in bulk locations.
• Pull bulk product and place in pick zones; consult with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues and retrieve products for shipping.
• Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to pallets for loading; maintain quality/productivity standards; operate power industrial equipment as needed.
• Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
