Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, order filling, and shipping operations with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity. The role includes verifying documentation, stocking by SKU, pulling bulk product, and transferring cartons to pallets for loading.

Responsibilities also include collaborating with Inventory Control on stock issues, meeting daily goals, and operating power equipment as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to stand/walk and climb stairs for extended periods.
• Willing to work overtime with little or no notice.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify documentation, SKU numbers, quantities and overall quality from vendors.
• Stock product from vendors and plants into bulk locations and consolidate by SKU.
• Pull bulk product and place in pick zones; consult with Inventory Control on stock issues.
• Retrieve specified product from pick locations to ship.
• Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to pallets for loading and secure them.
• Meet department quality and productivity standards; operate power industrial equipment as needed.
