Job summary

BDI Express in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Warehouse Representative to handle shipping/receiving, cycle counts, and order processing. You will operate forklifts/order pickers, inspect materials, and ensure safety standards.

You will also support Customer Support as needed, assist with deliveries, and maintain accurate warehouse records. This full-time role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, with training provided by BDI.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
• Must be willing to complete all required BDI training.
• Active driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, ship, and receive orders for customers, suppliers, and branches.
• Perform daily cycle counts to track inventory.
• Conduct quality checks on materials pulled for orders.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operate forklift or order picker to access high shelves.
• Process shipments in the warehouse management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per safety standards.
• Assist Customer Support with quotes and phone support as needed.
• Deliver and pick up shipments when required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
