Job summary

The University of Alabama is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to assist with receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory control, distribution of equipment, packing, and moving equipment and supplies.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to pass a post-offer drug screen; preferred experience with a computerized warehouse system and with hand trucks or pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 19 years old at hire and have an acceptable MVR.
• Final candidates must pass a post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory control, distribution, packing, and moving equipment and supplies.
• Receive, check-in, and price inbound merchandise for the Supply Store; ship returns.
