Warehouse Loader Sit Down Forklift 1st Shift

• Full-time

We are currently hiring a Warehouse Sit Down Fork Lift Operator for 1st shift at our Romeoville, IL distribution center. The pay rate is $19.50/hour. The hours for the 1st shift are Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30 p.m., with opportunities for overtime.

This position involves moving goods using a sit-down forklift and RF scanner from the staging area to outbound trailers. Must be able to follow directions and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

• Daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment.
• Perform outbound functions adhering to preferred methods.
• Inspect products for damage before loading to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize RF Scanner to move goods from staging to outbound mode of transportation.
• Ensure pallets are sturdy and safe for delivery.
• Read and understand shipment paperwork.
• Perform general housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Details

• $19.50/hr.
• 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, plus overtime as scheduled, including Saturday.
• Operate propane sit-down forklift efficiently.
• Knowledge of RF scanners/system.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and squat.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
• Accurately wrap, stage, and load shipments within required timeframes.
• Meet efficiency requirements by function.
• Communicate effectively in English.
