Job summary

Dakota Beverage Company, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a warehouse associate to build pallets for delivery to retail accounts.

Responsibilities include lifting 30+ pounds, picking beer cases to form pallets, and learning the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Training for pallet jacks and forklifts is provided, with a 4-day work-week and a late morning/early afternoon start.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move products weighing at least 30 pounds.
• Palletize beer cases to build customer pallets.
• Learn and use the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Complete operator training for pallet jacks and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

Job description

Dakota Beverage is a family owned beer distributor in Sioux Falls, SD. We are the largest beer distributor in the state and service Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities. We support and encourage a good work-life balance.

This employee is responsible for building pallets in the warehouse for delivery to retail accounts.

Job Responsiblilities

• Ability to lift and move products weighing a minimum of 30 pounds
• Pick cases of beer to build pallets ordered by customers
• Learn how to use the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Required operator training for pallet jacks and/or forklift operation.
• Follow product needs as outlined on nightly load sheets.
• Organize loads in a manner that minimizes breakage and miss-picks.
