Job summary

George’s Inc. is hiring a Loader to move finished product from coolers/freezers onto trucks and assist in related warehouse duties. You will operate a pallet jack, scan labels, and fill trucks according to pick lists as directed by a supervisor.

There is no supervisory responsibility in this role. The pay rate ranges from $18.20 to $19.45 per hour, with a preference for poultry processing experience. George’s values inclusion and equal opportunity for all employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate pallet jack safely and courteously.
• Familiar with product codes and labeling.
• Able to read pick lists and fill trucks to order.
• Experience with a scan gun for billing purposes.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jack to move finished product onto trucks.
• Ensure pallets and packaging are not damaged during transport.
• Read customer orders and fill truck according to pick list.
• Perform other duties in cooler/shipping/warehouse as assigned.
