Job summary

Jacam Chemical Company 2013, LLC is seeking a yard worker/driver to support loading, unloading, and inventory movement. The role involves driving in the yard (CDL not required) and operating a forklift for loading and unloading semi-trailers.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, adherence to PPE and Hazmat policies, and routine equipment maintenance. Temperature extremes and outdoor work are possible.

Responsibilities

• Drive semi-trailer trucks in yard (CDL not required).

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Skills & Abilities

• Work Ethic:Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for your own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job.
• Physical Abilities:Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging—tip and move 55-gallon drums weighing up to 600 lb, with the use of a drum dolly.

Indoors and outdoors, with occasional driving involved. The employee could be faced with working in temperature extremes. The employee must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, and manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and an H2S Monitor as required or needed.
