Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a pallet jack operator to move pallets in a warehouse environment. The role involves loading, unloading, and organizing pallets, while adhering to safety policies and temperature-controlled conditions.

Typical shift runs 2am to 10:30am with pay starting at $18/hr. The position requires basic math, ability to lift 40 lbs, and capacity to follow exact instructions in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify items requested in work orders.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect for damages; report issues.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped before being moved into dock doors.

Job description

Pay $18/hr

2am - 10:30am

Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to ship


• Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away


• Find products requested in work orders


• Change over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisor


• Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on location


• Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on location


• May work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills may be required depending on facility


• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics


• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear


• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility


• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed


• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$16.00 - $23.99
