Job summary

Pyramex Safety Products in Piperton, TN is seeking a Warehouse Picker to support order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. You will use an RF scanner to pick inventory from a designated area, verify items against pick tickets, and transfer stock in the warehouse management system.

• Cross train in other warehouse tasks as needed.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / 7am - 6pm
• Responsible for swiftly and accurately fulfilling orders from a specific pick area in the warehouse
• Use RF scanner to pick inventory and to make bin transfers in the warehouse management system
• Review pick ticket and RF scanner to confirm picks are accurate and complete before moving on
• Troubleshoot inventory and pick/pack discrepancies. Communicate to supervisor or appropriate coworker.
• Keep a safe and clean work area. Adhere to all safety policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude while making excellent customer service a top priority
• Cross train in other warehouse tasks and assist in projects or other areas, as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic reading, writing, computer and math skills
• Experience using an RF scanner
• Must be extremely detail-oriented
• Must be hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Must be self-motivated and punctual
• Able to work well within a team to deliver shared goals
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds without restriction, using proper safety methods
