L&F Distributors LLC is seeking a Warehouse Loader to join a night-shift team in Harlingen, TX. You will cooperatively process customer orders, safely loading pallets and preparing trucks for next-day deliveries.

A strong focus on safety, teamwork and basic English reading skills is required; forklift experience preferred. This role emphasizes reliability, physical stamina, and ability to stand for long periods. Cross-training across warehouse tasks may occur to support operations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math, and ability to read English safety rules and instructions.
• Cross-train in other warehouse areas as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Unload returning trucks and load trucks with pallets for the next day.
• Load pallets according to the delivery schedule from the staging area.
• Place pallets safely and securely to not affect operations.
• Place returned product in designated returns area.
• Assist with the shrink wrap team moving pallets to the staging area.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Loader will cooperatively work with a team to efficiently create customers’ orders. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members. Your job will involve driving around warehouses loading trucks at night for the next day deliveries. While this summary provides the basic duties of this position, warehouse employees may be asked to cross-train and assist in other areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload returning trucks and load the trucks with pallets for the next day.
• Load pallets according to the delivery schedule from the staging area.
• Place pallets in a way they are safe and secure to not affect the operations.
• Place returned product in designated area for returns.
• Assist with the shrink wrap team in moving pallets to the staging area.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• 1-year of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and complete other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring overall efficiency of all warehouse operations.
• Crosstrain in other areas of warehouse operation and warehouse responsibilities as needed.
• Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to use hands for handling, grasping, and reaching.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling.
• Sitting, climbing, and balancing.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and use powered industrial equipment.

Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment):

Involves frequent/infrequent, occasional, and routine exposure to:

• Exposure to warehouse settings, where moving equipment and inventory may pose safety risks.
• Other extreme hazards not listed above.
